Vaccinated Visitors Now Welcome to Canada

Hello World ! Today we would like to share the further update on the travel restriction. You can check our previous article from here.

Opening Border to Fully Vaccinated Visitors

As per announced on July 19, 2021, the Government of Canada now allows fully vaccinated visitors meeting the conditions to enter Canada for non-essential purposes starting on September 7, 2021.

Also, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced changes to the requirements for International Experience Canada (IEC) participants in the Working Holiday pool. Fully vaccinated IEC participants no longer need to submit proof of a job offer to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA).

Unvaccinated and partially-vaccinated IEC participants still have to:

  • provide proof of a job offer when you arrive in Canada
  • be required to quarantine

You must also be able to start a job as soon as you complete your quarantine. Check the start date on your job offer before you travel.

Please check our previous article about IEC from here.

Remarks on Travel Restrictions:

Due to the current travel restrictions, most people can’t apply for a work permit at the port of entry. You may be able to apply at the port of entry if you’re entering Canada from the United States. We still recommend our clients to apply online in advance to ensure their eligibility for entering Canada.
