Testimonials by R.A. – Study Permit

Hello. It is the last month of this year, and we hope you are all doing well. Today we would like to introduce a testimonial from one of our clients, who applied for a Study Permit.

“I am very relieved now that my Study Permit was successfully approved. Without Satoko’s help, I would not have been able to complete my first Study Permit application. Satoko corresponded promptly with me by e-mail and the application process went very smoothly. I didn’t even feel the time difference between Japan and Canada.

I was still a student, and this was my first time applying for a Study Permit, I did not even know how to make the payment. However, with Satoko’s careful explanation, I managed to complete the process successfully. Thank you very much. (R.A.)”

ーーー

We had an opportunity to support a Study Permit application outside Canada for R.A. through our agent. He was a university student in Japan but decided to take a break to study abroad in Canada. It seems that is the new trend for Japanese students.

We can support any application no matter where you are/live as we correspond with you by email and submit your application online.  We always try to respond to your email promptly. If you are interested in studying abroad in Canada, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Certain international students can enjoy the temporary benefits until the end of 2023. Please see the below for more details.

Good News for International Students!

On October 7, 2022, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced the temporary lifting of the 20-hour-per-week cap on the number of hours that eligible post-secondary students are allowed to work off-campus while attending school.

Starting November 15, 2022, to December 31, 2023, international students in Canada who have permission to work off-campus on their Study Permit are allowed to work over a 20-hour- per-week cap.

However, international students are required to make a balance between studies and work. Taking a break from studies or changing to part-time study is not eligible to work off-campus.

Details of the IRCC announcement can be found at the link below.
