2022 International Experience Canada
Hello World! The snow we had during the Christmas & New Year holidays has disappeared. Finally, the ground is visible here in Vancouver.
Today we would like to share information about the 2022 International Experience Canada (IEC)!
Registrations for the 2022 IEC are Now Open!
The 2022 IEC program is open and accepting applications. Last year, there were times when a job offer from a Canadian employer was required for a Working Holiday category. However, a job offer is not required this year.
If you are eligible, you can submit your profile now. You do not need to create a new profile if you:
- already have an active profile (such as one made during the 2021 season) and
- did not receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
What is International Experience Canada (IEC)?
IEC is a program designed to provide youth (aged 18 to 35) with the opportunity to travel and work in Canada. There are three IEC categories:
- Working Holiday
- Young Professionals
- International Co-op (Internship)
Each program has unique requirements and differs by country of applicant’s citizenship. You can check the eligibility below.

Travellers Must Be Fully Vaccinated Starting Jan 15!
As we shared the news in our previous article, effective January 15, 2022, travellers (including IEC participants) now need to be fully vaccinated to enter Canada.
