Testimonials by H.K. & N.N. – eTA Application
Hello, today we would like to introduce two testimonials from our clients who experienced unusual cases in their eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) applications; One client had to resubmit the eTA due to circumstances, and the other client was required to submit supporting documents.
▶︎ H.K. – eTA Resubmission:
“I had problems with my first agency regarding eTA application and decided to contact Satoko-san. She was very cooperative and quick to respond. I found it very helpful and reliable. Thank you very much! (H.K.)”

This client approached me through X (ex Twitter). She was one of the followers even before I established One Pacific Immigration Consulting. My X account is not about immigration information, but more of my daily thoughts. Please feel free to follow me.
▶︎ N.N. – eTA Application with Supporting Documents:
“I was worried when I was asked to submit additional documents after applying for my eTA, but I am glad that my application was successful. I may go to Canada after five years and if so, I would appreciate your help again on my eTA application. Thank you very much. (N.N.)”

This client was introduced by one of the agents in Japan. He had to come to Canada on a certain day to carry out important business event. The preparation and response needed to be quick and accurate. We were glad that we managed to get approval on time after submitting several additional documents.
What is an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization)?
An eTA is an entry requirement for foreign nationals from visa-exempt countries travelling to Canada by air or transit through a Canadian airport. An eTA is not required to enter Canada by car, bus, train, or ship (including cruise ships).
It is valid for up to five years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. If you get a new passport, you need to get a new eTA. If you are a Study/Work Permit holder from a visa-exempt country, your eTA will be approved at the same time your Study/Work permit application is approved. No separate application is required.
For more information on eTA, please check the following government website.

Applying for an eTA is a simple online process and most applicants receive approval by email within minutes if they don’t have any issues. However, when supporting documentation is required, like our clients above, the process could take a long time.
The eTA application cannot be changed after submission is complete, so we recommend that you read each section carefully and proceed with caution.
