Today we would like to share news about the 2024 International Experience Canada (IEC). The 2024 IEC application is now available. What is International Experience Canada (IEC)?
IEC is a program designed to provide youth (aged 18 to 35) with the opportunity to travel and work in Canada. There are three IEC categories:
- Working Holiday
- Young Professionals
- International Co-op (Internship)
Each program has unique requirements and differs by country of applicant’s citizenship. You can check the eligibility below.

Registrations for the 2024 IEC are Now Open!
The 2024 IEC program is now open and accepting applications since December 11, 2023. The first round will take place on January 8, 2024.

IEC Fee: $161 → $172
Biometrics: $85
Open Work Permit Holder Fee: $100 (Working Holiday Participants)
Employer Compliance Fee: $230 (Young Professionals & International Co-op Participants)

Quota: 6,500
First round of invitations: Week of January 8
Final round of invitations: To be announced
