Immigration Plan for the Next 3 years

The Immigration Levels Plan is a set of guidelines released annually regarding new immigration policies for the next three years.

The Immigration Levels Plan 2024-2026, released on November 1, 2023, aims stabilizing Canada’s immigration targets to support sustainable growth while recognizing that the immigration is critical to Canada’s economic growth, especially in sectors facing labor shortages such as health care, transportation, and home building.

Immigration target for 2024-2026:

2024:485,000 immigrants 

2025:500,000 immigrants 

2026:500,000 immigrants 

The targets for 2024-2025 are the same as those announced in the Immigration Levels Plan 2023-2025. In this announcement, new target for 2026 have been added, with revised targets for each class and category.
