Express Entry – ITA Issued to Only FSW
Hello World! Today we would like to share an update on the Express Entry System.
On February 2, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the fourth Express Entry draw of the year.
Express Entry Draw Result – February 2, 2023
In this draw, invitations were issued only to Federal Skilled Workers (FSWs) for the first time since Express Entry began in 2015.
The results are as follows;

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 489
Express Entry in 2023
Normally, Express Entry draws were held every two weeks on Wednesdays, while the 2023 draw follows a new trend.
The first draw of this year was on January 11, 2023, after a seven-week pause following the draw on November 23, 2022, and the second draw of the year occurred just one week after that. This draw was notable as IRCC does not typically issue an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in consecutive weeks.
