Travel Restrictions – Remain in Effect until June 21
Hello world! As you may know, the Government of Canada announced further travel resections on May 21, 2021.
The following is the most updated information as of today.
Travel Restrictions – Updates
- All international flights to arrive at 4 major airports in Canada(Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal)
- PCR testing and negative test result are required (72 hours prior to your departure)
- As of May 21,2021, you need to submit the detailed information of your travel through ArriveCAN within 72 hours before your arrival to Canada.
- PCR testing and quarantine upon the arrival(PCR testing at the airport/at home and 3-day-quarantine at one of the government authorized hotels
- Suspension of all direct commercial and private passenger flights from India and Pakistan until June 21, 2021.
It could cost approximately CAD2000 per person for the hotel quarantine and further PCR testing etc.

Canada will need 75% vaccination before US border reopens
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is suggesting that three−quarters of Canadians will need to be vaccinated against COVID−19 before the Canada−US border can be reopened.
Current Vaccination coverage in Canada:
As of May 28, 2021, 50.60% of people living in Canada received at least one vaccination.
