Express Entry 優先カテゴリー見直し

こんにちは。バンクーバーでは桜が咲き始め、春の訪れを感じる季節となりました。前回のブログに引続き、今回もExpress Entryの最新情報を紹介します。2026年2月18日、カナダ移民局（Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada “IRCC”）はExpress Entryの優先カテゴリー見直しを発表しました。

新たに追加された4つのカテゴリー

2026年からExpress Entryで追加となる優先カテゴリーは以下4つです。従来の申請条件は「申請前3年間で6ヶ月の職務経験」でしたが、今回より「申請前3年間で最低12ヶ月以上の職務経験」へと厳格化しています。

①　Senior managers with Canadian experience occupations
　　（カナダで実務経験がある上級管理職）

既存の6つのカテゴリー

今回の改訂では、新カテゴリーの追加と同時に、以下の既存カテゴリーも引続き優先される予定です。
・フランス語能力が高い人
・ヘルスケアおよび社会福祉分野
・STEM分野（科学、技術、工学、数学）
・職人系技能職（建築建設関連職種）
・教育職
・カナダで実務経験がある医師

一方で、以下のカテゴリーは今回の改訂で廃止になりました。
・農業、産業食品分野
・「職人系技能職」カテゴリーに含まれていた調理師（Cook）

最新のExpress Entry抽選傾向

2026年3月5日、新カテゴリーより「Senior managers with Canadian experience」の初回抽選が実施されました。CRSスコアは429で、カナダで管理職として働く人にとっては比較的到達しやすいスコアと考えられます。最新のExpress Entryスコア傾向を示した以下の表からも、本カテゴリーはCECより大幅に低い水準である一方、フランス語カテゴリーよりは対象が限定されている点が特徴と言えます。

今回の改訂から、カナダ政府が労働市場のニーズに合わせ、高度人材や重要職種を優先する永住権制度へ調整していることが読み取れます。特に医療・研究・管理職など、労働力不足が深刻な分野で人材確保が進められています。
