2024年4月発表の移民関連ニュース
こんにちは。先週末、カナダの広い範囲でオーロラが見えたとニュースになっていましたが、皆さんは見られたでしょうか？
今回は、最近発表された移民関連ニュースを、2つまとめてお届けします。
1. 2024年永住権申請料の値上げ
カナダ移民局Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) は、物価の上昇に伴い、2年おきに申請料の調整、引き上げを行うことを発表しています。(2022年申請料改定時の記事はこちら。)
これに伴い、2024年4月30日より永住権申請料が引き上げられました。永住権申請を予定されている方は、下記の新しい申請料にご注意ください。
永住権登録料 – Right of Permanent Residence Fee

2. 留学生のオフキャンパスワーク、今秋より24時間に
カナダ移民局は、留学生がオフキャンパス (学外) で週20時間以上働くことを認める暫定的な政策を2024年4月30日で終了し、今秋から学外で働くことができる時間数を週24時間に変更すると発表しました。
