We hope you find our blog helpful and continue to support us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, we would like to share three recent immigration news that you may find interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2-\u6e21\u822a\u524d\u691c\u67fb-\u8fc5\u901f\u6297\u539f\u691c\u67fb\u3082\u8a31\u53ef\">Ending Flagpoling at the Border<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-color=\"#fffd6b\" class=\"vk_highlighter\" style=\"background: linear-gradient(transparent 60%,rgba(255, 253, 107, 0.7) 0);\">Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced Work and Study permits are no longer available to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onepacificimmigration.com\/en-CA\/2024\/07\/30\/pgwp-no-more-flagpoling-at-ports-of-entry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">flagpole<\/a><\/strong> at a port of entry effective December 23 at 11:59 pm ET.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All Work and Study Permit applications and renewals must now be submitted online to IRCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exceptions may be made for the following individuals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Citizens and Permanent Residents of the United States of America;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professionals and technicians under free trade agreements with the United States\/Mexico, Chile, Panama, Peru, Colombia and South Korea;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spouses or common-law partners of professionals and technicians under free trade agreements with\u00a0Panama, Columbia and South Korea;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International truck drivers who hold a Work Permit and held maintained status after applying for renewal before departure;
