We hope you will enjoy our blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onepacificimmigration.com\/en-CA\/2021\/12\/additional-travel-restrictions-for-omicron\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>In our last article,<\/strong><\/a> we shared the information on travel restrictions for Omicron.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today we would like to provide some updates on the travel restrictions. If you plan to travel to Canada, please check the following carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">All Travellers Need COVID-19 Test Before Arrival <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Government of Canada announced further adjustments to travel and border measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-color=\"#fffd6b\" style=\"background: linear-gradient(transparent 60%,rgba(255, 253, 107, 0.7) 0);\" class=\"vk_highlighter\">As of December 21, 2021, unless specifically exempted, all travellers must take a pre-entry COVID-19 test before arriving in Canada, regardless of how long they were away.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, the COVID-19 testing exemption for short-trip within 72 hours has been lifted. (Please check our previous article <a href=\"https:\/\/onepacificimmigration.com\/en-CA\/2021\/12\/significant-update-on-travel-restrictions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>from here<\/strong><\/a>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The COVID-19 testing done in Canada is no longer be accepted. The pre-entry test must be performed in a country other than Canada within 72 hours of arrival at the land border or within 72 hours of a scheduled flight departure.<\/li><li>Travellers must either have a negative pre-entry COVID-19 test result taken no more than 72 hours before arriving in Canada or a previous positive test result taken between 14 and 180 days before departure to Canada.<\/li><li>Antigen tests, often called \u201crapid tests\u201d are not accepted.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">COVID-19 Test Exemption for B.C.
