You can check our previous article <a href=\"https:\/\/onepacificimmigration.com\/en-CA\/2021\/07\/01\/some-travel-restrictions-easing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>from here.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On July 19, 2021, <span data-color=\"#fffd6b\" style=\"background: linear-gradient(transparent 60%,rgba(255, 253, 107, 0.7) 0);\" class=\"vk_highlighter\">the Government of Canada announced the easing of border restrictions, allowing entry to fully vaccinated travellers from any country who meet specific entry requirements, starting September 7, 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you plan to travel to Canada, please check the following carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Opening Border to Fully Vaccinated Americans<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a first step of opening border for fully vaccinated travellers from any country, <span data-color=\"#fffd6b\" style=\"background: linear-gradient(transparent 60%,rgba(255, 253, 107, 0.7) 0);\" class=\"vk_highlighter\">starting August 9, 2021, Canada began allowing entry to American citizens and permanent residents, who are currently residing in the United States, and have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to entering Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To be considered fully vaccinated, you must:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>have received the full series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine or a combination of accepted vaccines<\/li><li>have received your last dose at least 14 days prior to entering Canada<\/li><li>upload your proof of vaccination in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/public-health\/services\/diseases\/coronavirus-disease-covid-19\/arrivecan.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ArriveCAN<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Accepted vaccines:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pfizer-BioNTech<\/li><li>Moderna <\/li><li>AstraZeneca \/COVISHIELD<\/li><li>Janssen (Johnson &amp; Johnson) <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please check below for more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/public-health\/news\/2021\/07\/government-of-canada-announces-easing-of-border-measures-for-fully-vaccinated-travellers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/public-health\/news\/2021\/07\/government-of-canada-announces-easing-of-border-measures-for-fully-vaccinated-travellers.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entry Requirements for Vaccinated Travellers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>* As of August 9, 2021, travellers are no longer required to book a 3-night hotel stopover when entering Canada.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Subject to limited exceptions, all fully vaccinated travellers must follow the entry requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span data-color=\"#fffd6b\" style=\"background: linear-gradient(transparent 60%,rgba(255, 253, 107, 0.7) 0);\" class=\"vk_highlighter\">Pre-entry PCR testing<\/span> (*1)<\/li><li><span data-color=\"#fffd6b\" style=\"background: linear-gradient(transparent 60%,rgba(255, 253, 107, 0.7) 0);\" class=\"vk_highlighter\">Prepare quarantine plan<\/span> &#8211; You can assess your plan if it&#8217;s suitable or not from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/isolation\/quarantine-start\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here. <\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><span data-color=\"#fffd6b\" style=\"background: linear-gradient(transparent 60%,rgba(255, 253, 107, 0.7) 0);\" class=\"vk_highlighter\">Submit your information in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/public-health\/services\/diseases\/coronavirus-disease-covid-19\/arrivecan.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ArriveCAN<\/strong><\/a> before arrival<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you meet all the requirements at the border based on the information presented at the time of entry into Canada, you will not have to quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(*1) Fully vaccinated travellers do not need a post-arrival test unless they have been randomly selected to complete the test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are fully-vaccinated and plan to travel to Canada, please check below for the details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada?utm_campaign=cbsa-asfc-covid19-21-22&amp;utm_source=news&amp;utm_medium=pog&amp;utm_content=exemptions_aug21_en50\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada?utm_campaign=cbsa-asfc-covid19-21-22&amp;utm_source=news&amp;utm_medium=pog&amp;utm_content=exemptions_aug21_en50<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Re-opening 5 Additional Airports<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To support the new measures, international flights are permitted to land at the following 5 additional airports, effective August 9, 2021:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Halifax Stanfield International Airport;<\/li><li>Qu\u00e9bec City Jean Lesage International Airport;<\/li><li>Ottawa Macdonald\u2013Cartier International Airport;<\/li><li>Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport;
