We have posted the updates on Canadian travel restrictions<\/a> in the beginning of new year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you may know, the Government of Canada announced a further travel resections on January 29, 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you plan to travel to Canada, please check the following carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel Restrictions – Updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

*The temporary suspension of flights from the United Kingdom has been lifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*The temporary suspension of flights to and from Mexico and Caribbean countries until April 30, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*COVID-19 testing required for people flying into Canada<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Startin<\/span>g from January 7, 2021<\/span>, air travelers 5 years of age or older will be required to present a negative COVID-19 test result to the airline prior to boarding international flights bound for Canada. The test needs to be taken within 72 hours prior to the departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Further travel resections for all travelers <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Effective February 3, 2021,<\/span> Transport Canada expands the existing international flight restrictions which funnel scheduled international commercial passenger flights into four Canadian airports: Montr\u00e9al-Trudeau International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport, Calgary International Airport, and Vancouver International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All air travelers arriving in Canada, with very limited exceptions, must reserve a room in a Government of Canada-approved hotel for three nights at their own cost, and take a COVID-19 molecular test on arrival at their own cost. (Toronto Pearson Airport already started the COVID-19 test upon the arrival)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One source says approximately CAD2000 per person is required for the arrival package (hotel, transportation, food, test etc). More details will be available in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
