Traveling to Canada? – What you need to know

This time we will provide some updates on the topic. If you plan to travel to Canada, please check the following carefully.

Travel Restctions – Updates

*Flights from the United Kingdom

As of December 23, 2020Canada suspends flights from the United Kingdom until January 6, 2021. The situation is being monitored closely. Travel restrictions may change with little warning.

*COVID-19 testing required for people flying into Canada

Starting January 7, 2021, air travellers 5 years of age or older will be required to present a negative COVID-19 test result to the airline prior to boarding international flights bound for Canada.

What is ArriveCAN?

As of November 21, 2020, you must use the application called ArriveCAN before checking in at the airport or crossing the border to submit your

  • travel and contact information
  • quarantine plan
  • COVID-19 symptom self-assessment

Please bring your ArriveCAN receipt (electronic or paper) with you to show the border services officer upon arrival.
